While Pinterest is still the top dog when it comes to #weddinginspiration, Instagram is quickly becoming another stop for brides to ‘Ohh’ and ‘Aww’ over the latest trends. Whether it’s gorgeous dresses, stunning floral, or unique favors, Instagram is the place to go to see what the wedding industry is loving right now.
Last time, we checked out (ok, stalked) the Instagram accounts of some of our preferred vendors. This week, we checked out some of the big names in the wedding industry to see what wedding trends have been catching their eyes!
(Oh, and while you’re at it, check out our Instagram account: eventsatforum!)
The Knot: “Next up from @jenhuangphoto! “Nothing makes a bride smile like her groom, that special connection is what makes a photograph meaningful… the gorgeous flower crown definitely helps, too!” 💑 #theknot #takeovertuesday 📷 via #jenhuangphoto | Dress:@needleandthreadlondon | Suit: @jcrew | Flower Crown: @lauryllane | Venue:@sanysidroranch“
Martha Stewert Weddings: “This bride took her ivory @jcrew satin pumps to her local cobbler, where they were customized with a lace appliqué from her mom’s wedding dress—a nod to her parent’s 37-year marriage. Perfect Wedding Guide: “TREND ALERT: COPPER WEDDINGS! Visit Head Over Heels for copper inspiration for your wedding! Perfect for any 👰🏼 | The link is in our bio”
And last, for a local favorite, we checked out WeddingDay Magazine to see what they are loving right now. They published blogs about our Romantic and Modern Style Shoots, so we know they have good taste!
WeddingDay Magazine: “Who says the #bride is the only one allowed to sport some bling on her #WeddingDay? We just ADORE this decked out #weddingcake from our recent cover shoot! 🍰 #sneakpeek #elegantwedding #MidwestBride
