We had the honor of hosting the monthly Perfect Wedding Guide lunch here at FORUM on April 1st. I know that both Rachelle and I were excited to welcome first-time vendors to our property, as well as see old friends. This was Rachelle’s third day here at FORUM – so she was meeting everyone for the first time.
Chris LaMar from Chair Covers & Linens graciously provided the linens for our event. To say that they were beautiful would be an understatement – they were gorgeous. We were obsessed with her Palazzo tablecloths; the new Chartreuse shade that they carry is perfect for Spring. She inspired us to put flowers on our bulkhead projector to match!
We are so happy to have Chris LaMar with Chair Covers & Linens as one of FORUM’s recommended vendors. Chris does an amazing job making sure our clients have exactly what they are looking for, whether it would be for a corporate event or a wedding. She will also come in to meet with the bride and bring samples if requested.
The food for the lunch was provided by Food Guys here in Indianapolis. I worked with Jennifer Platte, Sales Executive at Food Guys, and every bite of the meal was amazing. Here was our menu for the three course lunch:
Avocado Lobster Stack with Heirloom Tomatoes and Ginger Lime Dressing accompanied by a Arugula Watercress and Broccoli Spouts Salad with Fire Roasted Peaches, Toasted Pistachio, Crumbled Goat Cheese and Drizzled with a Honey Vanilla Yogurt Dressing
Airline Chicken Breast with a Yukon Gold Duchess Potato, Roasted Tri Colored Carrots and a Balsamic Onion Compote
Individual Raspberry Baked Alaska Cheesecake
Champagne Mint Julep
Kenton Dixon, Owner/Photographer of Dixon Digital Photography, attended the luncheon and took some pictures of the event. The photographs Kenton took show off our space beautifully and, of course, made the food look just as wonderful as it tasted! He was able to capture how special and how close the Perfect Wedding Guide members are as a group. I call this group my extended family and I am always happy when I get to spend a little bit of time with them.
Kenton is a wonderful photographer and like Food Guys – I would recommend him out to any of my clients. You can find more of his beautiful work here:
I cannot wait to share more of the wonderful events we do at the FORUM and I hope to even inspire you all with your next event!
Until next time,
